Thank you for buying from our Shop. Mid-Century-Living is a hobby, not a business, but buying from the Shop makes an important contribution to the cost of running the site (Domain Names, Hosting, Security Certificates, Software etc.). It's greatly appreciated.

We sell items in two ways on this site, and the terms are different for each:

Some items in the Shop are links to items sold on Amazon. This is known as an Amazon Affiliate link, and when you buy something in this way we receive a small percentage of the price of the item from Amazon. This doesn't cost you anything extra - it's basically Amazon paying us for marketing a few of their products. This doesn't generate much, but it's a painless way for us to offer products that might be of interest to you, and for you to support the site.

Items bought in this way are bought from Amazon, and all the terms of the sale depend on Amazon. Refunds and Returns are handled by Amazon, not us.

It's obvious which items these are - when you click Buy Now, you'll be taken to the Amazon website.

All other items are sold directly by ourselves. Many are actually produced by ourselves. For these items, checkout and payment will happen on Mid-Century-Living.

We endeavour to despatch your order within 2-3 days, but occasionally it may take longer. We're based in the UK and may use a variety of delivery companies. If you need an item urgently, please tell us and we'll let you know if we can achieve that.

For Direct Sales (items we sell and ship ourselves), we're happy to accept a return within 30 days of your order for any reason. All we ask is that items returned are in the same condition as you receive them. Once we receive the return, we'll issue a refund to the same payment payment as the order within a few days. You will need to pay the return postage costs, and items should be returned in the original packaging. Where an item arrives damaged, we may issue a refund or send a replacement without requiring return of the original item.

The one exception to the Direct Sales Return and Refund policy is Downloadable Products. These are not covered by any returns policy and we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for these items.

We use PayPal and Stripe for accepting payments. Most issues with your payment would need to be taken-up with them, but if you have a problem we'll help as much as we can.
