Here are our remanufactured coat hooks for the Rover P5. Good originals are almost impossible to find, as the plastic seems to degrade quite badly (presumably as they’re exposed to sunlight and heat inside the car).
Originals seem to vary quite a lot in shape, so we’ve taken an ‘average’ of several (see photos) and created as exact a replica as possible in Autodesk Fusion, and colour matched then to a cream colour (not white) for 3D printing, which looks very in-keeping with the Rover headlining and trim, as well as matching all the originals we can find.
There are faint lines on the front face of the remanufactured coat hooks, an unavoidable by-product of the production process. These are invisible from a short distance away (see photos of inside of car), but if they do concern you it’s very easy to sand these away. Easy to fit – just two screws.
