Headrest Reading Light Lens. The factory reading lights (optionally fitted to the front headrests to provide illumination for rear seat passengers) were supplied without a lens, presumably to allow easy bulb replacement. This always looks unfinished – a small detail, yes, but an odd one.
So we created our own lens that fits the existing reading light. You will need to remove the headrest from the seat and then remove the bottom cover of the headrest (4 screws), so you can access the reading light mounting screws (2 per light). Remove the screws and nuts, then re-assemble with the lens in place. I recommend fitting LED bulbs at the same time – they run cooler, and are unlikely to need replacing.
These were modelled in Autodesk Fusion and 3D printed in PETG plastic, so they are translucent but very tough. They are also textured to diffuse and soften the light slightly. Very classy.
